Today's was the first round collection for Prom. Day 1. Although the responses(rather, the lack of it) been rather discouraging, but we( as in the comm) are hoping that it is just a time issue... or a memory issue...

Either way, having done quite abit for Prom, we of course hope the school populace can support us. But I guess we just gotta take things as they come.

Saturday:
Went out with Science Club peeps again. And something really silly happened. Was supposed to meet them at Orchard, but i guess i was pretty zoned out or something. Took the train till Dhoby Ghaut, went into Plaza Singapura and searched for them at the Golden Village cinema there for like 10 minutes b4 msging Randy. Then he replied that we were supposed to be meeting at Orchard. =.="

Took the train down to Orchard and by then, was already 30 minutes late. Haha, but Hock Ming was even later. Anyways, we wanted to watch The DaVinci Code, but we couldn't find tickets with suitable timings at ANY theather. Went from Orchard to City Hall, covering 4 to 5 theathers. Was even contemplating going to some ulu cinema such as the one at Tiong Bahru.. But in the end bought tickets for the 9.40 show at Prince. The place was spacious enough, but the air-con in the cinema was broken tt night -_-. Stupid. Got pretty pissed off cos the show was boring and the cinema was terrible. Hot too.

Oh! And we had quite a shock too. Cos we saw an almost identical clone of Philip Tan 2 rows infront. LOL. And what's funnier is that when we "tested" him by calling "Philip.. Philip.." He kept looking around, as if to see who was calling him =X Anyways, we found out later that it wasn't him, but the resemblance was amazing, right down to the glasses. The chin was different.

Caught the last bus home with Randy.

Sunday:
Woke up at 12pm today. Didn't really intend to do anything except slack at home. But Sera msged about visiting the ballroom with Yong Quan. So I figured might as well..

Met Yong Quan, Angel and Amelia at Marina Square and went over to look at the Marina Mandarin ballroom. Heard that they renovated the place and it was REALLY nice! The hotel guide that was assisting us was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO friendly, but i guess thats what he's paid for huh? But still, his talking was just so smooth and fluent. Heard him talking in dialect as well as some other foreign language to some other hotel guests.

The whole visit took about 10 minutes. Snapped a couple of nice photos to show the cohort :D Went with Yong Quan to PS after that as he had to rush for a movie with ODACians. Met Hock Ming to watch Poisedon, 5pm show. And that bugger was late again!! Nono, actually he arrived at 4.55pm -_-

The show was pretty good, much better than The DaVinci Code in my opinion. It was a rather sad movie too as quite a number of people died due to overestimating the ship's capabilities. Moral of the story? NO ship is unsinkable!

After the show, didnt really stay out much cos it was Sunday. That late nOOb wanted to sleep anyways.

Juz came back from another LOOOOOONG comm meeting. Settled loads of stuff as well as finalised the main details.

Half the week has gone by. Dunno about other people, but its been a busy hell for me. SPAs, Comm meetings and what nots. But more importantly, the past few days been really fun(in my opinion) so I guess I can say I'm enjoying it all.

One thing's for sure. Prom is so gonna rock!

Nuff said, its time to study for Physics SPA. Just this last SPA and life's gonna be so much more carefree.

First meeting regarding Prom was today and boy... some major issues going on man. Not gonna say too much about it, but just that the activities and all would probably be better den previously. Hope that SRJCians can support us wholesomely!!

One major issue though is that we're seriously short on funds, actually close to nothing. And the external agents involved are waiting for their downpayment, so that's rather pressing I guess. Oh well, if we can't fork out the downpayment, no Prom i guess. But seriously hope something does come out of it. After all, its the last chance for ME to attend Prom. Hahax

This week is SPA week. Gosh, Biology Skill A SPA on Tuesday(tomorrow) and Physics Skill D SPA on Thursday. Bored as hell with SPA already, so glad that its finally all gonna be over.

P.E today was boring too. Just had NAPFA last week, and i failed again as expected. Today was supposedly games day, but all the "gaming spots" were simply too crowded that I ended up just running couple of rounds instead, kinda fun too actually.

Missed the committee meeting for Prom cos my lessons ended late. But been talking to YQ juz now and it seems they have done quite alot of stuff already. Currently trying to decide on whether a buffet style or a dinner style is more suitable for this year's Prom. Really hope that things are a success as after all, this is quite an important event for us J2 isn't it?

Anyways, gotta go mug for Biology SPA tomorrow. Its boring as hell though.. In fact, I'm considering just going to sleep right now and forget all about it. Yea and screw it up probably. Sigh. SPA just finish already please?

Today was preeeeetty boring. Went for Chemistry lecture early in the morning, exceptionally high number of people wasn't at lecture today as the S.L.Os for Pre-U Seminar was at the NUS site visit. The lecture itself was totally boring, as well as the chemistry re-test after it. *Yawn* Think i can scrape a pass for it..

Went out with Jensen and Raymond after the test to Kovan. Grabbed a bite to eat at Mcdonalds' and Jensen kept trying to sabotage me. = =" After eating, walked around Kovan cos both of em wanted to shop for gifts for mothers, girlfriends, grandparents etc. After that, finally went to SuperBowl to do some bowling. Bowled for about 3 hours or so.. then Amanda came to meet up wif Jensen. Nothing much happened after that i guess, we all went home after that.

Created some button links and changed the old ones on my blog. Been surfing DeviantArt too.. Waaaay too much great artwork on there man.. Wish i could draw like those people..

Yay chemistry complementary(complimentary -.-) lessons. I'm so all prepared to go for it already. Tommorow's Chemistry lecture, then Chemistry Common Test 2 re-test for those peepos who failed. Supposed to study the test papers as well as lecture notes. But cmon, who has that kinda time?

Just got home from hanging out with Randy at Chinatown and been blogging and talking to Wenshan as it goes. Its like 11.32pm and I intend to sleep around 1am. Haha, that leaves SO MUCH time for studying huh?

Anyways, about today, its Vesak Day, so no school!!! Woke up at 10am and played/anime-ed the morning as well as a good portion of the afternoon. Went out with Randy to play pool till about 7.40pm, den went with him to Chinatown to eat as well as hang out with his class. Went back after that together while his class went to Cineleisure to havoc even more. Lolx. HEY! We only had $2 or so between us, can't really do much with it huh?

Oh rite, I guess I better scoot of to hit the books. Ciaos

Its Friday once again and quite an unfruitful Friday to be honest. As SRJC is to be used as a polling station, the school had to be handed over to the Elections department by 2pm today to be prepared for the polling. So we(S1) ended at 12pm today, which was like the earliest time we're ever gonna be released on a regular school day. There were loads of great plans to eat, party and catch a movie, but everyone dispersed and scattered and in the end nothing was done -_- Reached home at about 2pm and TOTALLY stoned till 7pm. Hahaz

Watched Starship Troopers till 9pm and went out cycling. Found the old pair of Kluangdidas that I got during the Sec3 VS camp. LOLX. Just realised its really good to wear when cycling.. and running? Passsed Randy the Dan Brown book collection too and cycled around the area for an hour or so? Reached home, bathed and been doing Poisson Distribution tutorial till now..

Fruitful? NAAAAAAW!

My home is a regular madhouse nowadays. Freakin elder sister always does a "Dement"-or everytime her exams are around the corner. Bah, she think's just because her exams are near, the world starts to revolve around her. Mom's always in a bad temper too cause of my sister's selfish-ness. Dad's angry too cos mom and jie are always at loggerheads and he can't stand the noise. Oh F**K that. What kinda nonsense is this man, exam stress? F**king don't study already if u're stressed. With this kinda f**king attitude, so what if u're a multi-PhD-er?

Been going out till late these days to escape from this madhouse. Went out with Science clubbers yesterday. Went out with Edwin today to Suntec City and Marina Square. Intended to buy board shorts, slippers and who-knows-what just to release all that emotion bottled up along with the money. Lolx. But at the end of the day, didn't really buy anything at all cos I really couldn't find anything that i really liked. Oh but i did try a Banana Chocolate flavoured ice-cream from that japanese ice-cream stall in Marina Square :D Anyways.. Been killing brain cells over the Mathematics Tutorial 31 on Binomial Distributions and finally solved the question i was stuck at thanks to Tine :D

Oh yes, my American Pie 4 download is finally finishing! YAY!

Went out with the Science club guys today. Randy, Nic, Hock Ming, Jackie. Met at Bugis at 4pm and we couldn't decide on what to do LOL. In the end, we went to Orchard Cineleisure to catch a movie. Stayed at the ticket booth for quite a while cos we couldn't decide on which movie to watch as NONE of them were exceptionally good, and finally decided on "Aquamarine" in the end. After getting the tickets, had dinner at Esteler77(did i get the name right? :S), first time too. Ate the fried rice and drank the soda specialty which were both pretty good and it didn't even cost me more than $10.

Went to watch the movie after dinner. The show was funny-ish i guess. It wasn't really ALL that funny or exceptionally good. But if you got the cash and the time.. as well as the need to see babes, you might just like it. (: By the time it ended at ~9.30pm, it was already too late to get the slippers i wanted to buy. Went looking in Heeren's but the store was closed already -_-

After that, as the night was still young, we decided to go to Desker Road for a new experience. For the benefit of those who're clueless, Desker Road is somewhat like Geylang. Think red lights and lewt men. But the area is more back-alleyish i guess. The five of us strolled through the entire backalley of Desker Road. There were LOADS of red lights as well as Indians around. There were also MANY stores selling toys(You KNOW which kind). There were alot of THOSE women who kept trying to attract passer-bys attention(including us :S)

Throughout, we kept talking in mandarin as we were afraid to incur some people's wrath with all the jokes we're making. Lolx. Also kept making sure there wasn't anyone we know. WAHAHA!! All in all, it was quite an experience. Lolx.

Took 63 back home after that. Nothing much happened then.
