Saturday, December 31, 2005 Haircut
Got my haircut today. Now it doesn't look that thick, but it's still pretty bad i think. Sigh.
Jason wanted to bring me to this hair stylist to cut hair, claims that its very good. $16. Went to Toa Payoh to try him. Well, I've got nothing to lose, its not like i got some glamorous hairstyle before cutting Lolz. Anyways, I never got to see whether he was really good or not cos Jason forgot to make an appointment -.-" so no cutting. WTH. Wasted my time. In the end went to another salon called QuickTouches or something to get my haircut. It was fast, and cost $10, so o wells, i guess it's still reasonable. Besides haircutting, another agenda is to buy new shoes. Really wanna get a pair of classic shoes for the new school year. But so far i haven't seen any that i really like, or which I think is worth spending money on. Was looking at some classic shoes online just now and saw a couple which looked really good. Gonna go hunt for them tomorrow. Queensway eh? The amount of holiday time ticks away and already I have lost the mood to continue with doing homework. Did quite considerable amount of homework in the past few days. But now I juz wanna enjoy my last few days of my holidays(and life?). Anyways, come 3rd Jan, gonna go to school(for the last time?) as a JC2 student. Argh! I hope i can take the stress. Anyways.. Peace!

Yes! Only 4 more days to go till the end of the holidays and back to school!
Didn't manage to get my hair cut today cos Jason wasn't feeling all that well, so postponed to tml :D Went down to airport today to do homework with Justine, Raymond, Esther and Wan Yi, reached there at like 1pm(the meeting time) and to nobody's surprise, only Raymond was there. The others came like b/w 2-3pm. Didn't really waste much time, started on the homework i brought there quickly. Brought Mendelian Genetics and Evolution tutorials as well as Oscillations and Work, Energy, Power worksheets to do. Spent like 5 hours at the McDonald doing homework lolz. Finished(somewhat) the physics homework and completed quite a considerable amt on the biology ones.. so i guess the day wasn't really wasted! :D Reached home feeling really shagged though, no mood to do homework now. Gonna go sleep early ba, wake up tml and do more work :D

Thursday, December 29, 2005 Last week of hols
Its all about homework now. No play, no eat, no sleep. Juz constantly attacking the pile of homework which is about the size of Mount Everest. Sigh. Talk about a fruitful holiday.
Been about 3 days since started worrying bout homework, completed quite a considerable amount already, more than some of my classmates at least, but its still unsatisfactory as there's still some which i have not even touched(e.g. General Paper) 2 things on the agenda tomorrow. To get my hair cut as well as meet Raymond and co. at airport to complete more work. Bwahaha. I doubt we'll get any work done, our "homework meetings" always turn out tt way. Lolx. Exchanged bags with Humphrey juz for the fun of it. My red Crumpler for his leather bag from Robinson which is slightly more expensive than mine. Well, the exchange's for a trial period of 1 month, so we'll juz see how it goes. =D

Monday, December 26, 2005 Poke!
Finally started on homework today. Wahaha! But didn't really accomplish much cos i haf totally no idea what everything's about. -.-"
Went out wif Hock Ming, Hui and Frog to play pool today. Hock Ming said to meet at 4.45pm, i reached there at 5.00pm, and was the earliest too. Pretty dumb, left my house at 4.00pm, caught a bus to Eunos mrt, den by some reason that i still dunno, i boarded the train towards Pasir Ris. And even worst, i didn't realise it till i was at Tampines. =S O well, I was the earliest still. Went to play pool at this super ulu place in Lucky Plaza. The entire place was SOOOOOOOOOOOO crowded man. Was quite traumatised by the time we reached the highest level of Lucky Plaza where the pool place was. Teamed up wif Hui against Hock Ming and Frog and the final score wasn't too bad la, we lost by a couple of games i think. Haha, the place the tables quite bad la, i still prefer my favourite Parkway Centre pool place (: Played pool for couple of hours. Den we had a little trouble deciding where to take dinner. After like 20 mins, finally decided to go Far East to eat, and i ate Oyster Mee Sua and Sausage Egg Crepe from the Taiwan snacks thing! Super nice!! They 3 pang seh me go upstairs to eat -_- After dinner wanted to go walk around, but i guess since its Christmas, there were almost no stores open, so there's nothing much to see in the various shopping centres. Furthermore, there's some performance along Orchard road, so the area outside the shopping centres are SOOOOOOO crowded la. So nothing much to walk actually. We had fun still tho.. nono, more like Hui had all the fun! She kept poking and hitting us! But we teased her back too. What a big mess. Lolz. Took train back, and we continued to tease each other. Reached Eunos, Hui's Pa was coming to fetch her, so i dun have to waste time sending her back. WAHAHA! Okay, gotta continue with homework now. That Hui completed so much liao -_- Think about it oso sianz.. T.T

Sunday, December 25, 2005 Merry Xmas!
Today's Christmas day!! Whee, Merry Christmas everyone!
Yesterday was Christmas eve(Duh! = ="). Didn't had any plans for the day, went out wif mummy to IKEA to juz do window-shopping. Went to Queensway shopping centre too and bought new pair of shoes for only $70! Wahaha, mummy bargained with the shop assistant till he was nearly crying i think o.0" During IKEA shopping, Huihui called me and asked some pretty "obvious" questions regarding MAD like whether we have to give our CIP tag to the head honcho(who's the managers' manager) or juz any manager. Aaaand again like 10 mins later asking me to help her take her tag cos she left it there and too paiseh to go take. =.=" RIGHT FRIEND? Went home for a while to freshen up, den left house again for Tampines. Since gotta collect that royal highness card, might as well go sign mine too right? Saw alot of ppl at MAD sia, all become managers liao. Collected the royal highness's card and mine own, den zhao to Century Sq to look for her. Met her at SweetTalk and passed her the tag. She was with her sec sch frens, who oso happen to be Justine's frens too, Ping, Xiong and 1 more gal which i forgot the name le >.<, they're all super cool la..............unlike Justine =x Anyways, juz hung out with them for abit, chatted for awhile, den Ping's bf lai liao so they all going to East Coast for Xmas countdown.. so Byebye!! Afta tt me went to Bedok to eat McDonald(again -_-) for dinner. Den go home.

Thursday, December 22, 2005 I'm Baaaack...
from chalet. Yup, the inital plan was to stay at Tze Sheng's chalet for 3 nights. But i decided not to as all that junk food and no-sleep nights were getting to me. The chalet was pretty wild! We were constantly blasting out loud music, shouting/yelling, playing Tau Pok(A game where we create a mountain of bodies on one person), playing cards etc. Not to mention that there were TONS of pretty/cute gals around, so we got quite an eyeful too i guess. Hahax.
Well, fun's over. Time to worry bout school again. ~1 week left before school reopens and f**k it, i haven done any homework yet. Sheesh. And my hair colour isn't fading, bleh. Guess i'll have to get it "repaired" =X Anyways, won tickets to Ah Du's concert from the MAD drink sale. LOLZ. Like so budget can? I heard that out of 50 Disney On Ice sets of 4 tickets to be won for the previous draw, they did not even have enough coupons to draw out 50. So everyone who took part won the tickets. Lolx, i wonder if mine's the case too. Well.. still wondering whether i should go for MAD duty anymore.. Haven gone in like forever...

Monday, December 19, 2005 Weekends
Edwin's over in Malaysia. Probably why this particular weekend's kinda quiet as his practically my only outing buddy. O well, it past over pretty quickly still though, so i guess thats alright.
Saturday was okay i guess. Initially planned to play tennis with Humphrey in the morning, but i slept too late the previous night, woke up feeling terribly ill. So smsed him to cancel it hoping that he hadn't left the house or something. FAT HOPE! Got flamed. Really sorry Humphrey!!! I'll make it up to you some other time. Eh at least i never msg you like at the meeting time right..? =X Anyways, slept for the bulk of the morning, woke up at like 1pm. Was terribly bored then. Saw Bryan Tan came online at 3pm, so grabbed him to go play pool XD Met at like 4pm and played pool till like 6pm? Den he said he's gotta go back and get $$ and stuff cos he was meeting his other friends. And i could come along too. =D Yea, so i decided to go to Orchard with him in the end. Met all his friends who were really cool people. There's Willy who looks totally cool! Then there's Averral who's from SRJC too but i've nvr seen her b4, but she's supposedly quite high profile in SRJC. O wells, goes to show how un-informed I am =.= Den there's her boyfriend Andrew, who's from MJC and last but not least the DotA god(Bryan claims so), Chen. Anyways, we went to play at that huge LAN shop in Cineleisure after dinner(oyster mee sua) and deciding against watching a movie(there wasn't any nice shows). Averral, Willy and Andrew played WoW for pretty much the entire 2 hrs there. Bryan was playing some weird game called Alien Swarm. Me and Chen tried out F.E.A.R. The game was pretty scary and highly gory, something like a Matrix-style Half-Life, what with SlowMo and stuff. After playing F.E.A.R for awhile, me and Chen started playing Battlefield 2, which is so MUCH better than Battlefield 1. OMG, the A.I, graphics and basically everything is JUST so nice. Could have kept on playing it for hours. Considering getting the game ahah. (+1 to wishlist -.-") Anyways, after all tt gaming, it was really late.. like 11.15pm. We went to eat at this Japanese food centre, fast food style. Averral was telling me about some weird Japanese dishes which was pretty digusting la. Lets just say i hurried through my food after that. =X After dinner(supper?), Me, Bryan, Averral and Andrew shared a cab home, dropping Bryan($12), me ($2), Averral ($1?) and then Andrew ($20++?) respectively. And thats it. Lol. Compared to Saturday, Today was nothing. Slept till late morning. Woke up. Went out with mother to Toa Payoh to stock up on groceries. Came back(like 1.30pm). Slept all the way till 6. Woke up for dinner. Watched TV(yes finally!) till like 12. Blogging now. Gonna sleep soon. Should i go for MAD tml..?

Friday, December 16, 2005 Much brain things going on..
Haven updated for quite a while already as Blogger was going nuts and messing up all my posts to become senseless crap. Loads of stuff has happened these past few days and to put it all down in pen and paper(or in this case.. text) will be quite a task. Nonetheless I'm still gonna do so, so be warned. This post will be considerably long.
First thing, a long overdue word of thanks to Edwin for getting me a basketball as stated from my Christmas Wishlist. Finally can strike out 1 item from the wishlist, but i guess the rest will remain there, gonna move it onto my permanent wishlist i guess Lolx. Let's start with Wednesday. Met Edwin to get the ball. Then hung out with him for awhile at Toa Payoh. He was still on the quest for a 2nd hand 8910I. Well, we scoured the entire of Toa Payoh only to recieve considerably disappointing results. Of all the stores, we only managed to find ONE 8910I going at $338, which is exorbitant considering that it was 2nd hand, as well as a handful of 8910s. Anyways, recieved a sms from Humphrey. He wanted to stay out that night so yea i guess, i'll juz accompany him since there's nothing much to do anyways. So then, stayed out with Edwin till like 9(we continued his quest at Bedok), then went home for a short break before going out again to meet Humphrey at Bedok Int. He says to meet at 10 sharp but was 15 mins late. O well, guess somebody needs to learn how to tell the time again. Went to Parkway Centre to play pool. Started playing about 10.30. Anyways, about 11.30, this group of gals came in to play too. And i think(Humphrey agrees too) that 2 of them amongst the group were really really hot. And they took the two tables that were directly adjacent to ours :D. So we juz continued playing all the way till closing time(3am) and by then, the girls and us were the only customers left in the pool centre. Humphrey kept trying to justify that we should go talk to them as they wanted to talk to us. Yea like. W/e -.-" So at 3, left the place. Went to 7-11 to grab a Big Gulp and who should we meet but those girls again. And again while walking to East Coast. And a 4th time at East Coast McDonalds. Humphrey kept rambling on and on that we should go talk to them, and about how a particular one was so particularly hot. Lolx. Well, we reached Mcdonalds about 3.30am and spent the remaining of the night(morning) watching the sky(and stars?) and soccer on ESPN till like 7am. Well, after this, I'm kinda afraid of McDonalds already, having spent so much time eating(& dreaming) in there. Come to think of it, it was kinda missed opportunity, not talking to those gals. As Edwin pointed out, we SHOULD have talked to them in the pool place, especially since there were no one else to witness if we ended up "crashed and burned". Contrast with Wed, Thurs(ytd) was completely dull. Spent practically the whole day sleepin and lazing around the house. So i guess there's nothing much to say about it. Haven been going for MAD lately cos i was juz too lazy to go. And not going for it has reverted my life back to the usual normal boredness. Maybe I'll start going for it next week. Meanwhile, maybe its time to get started on my homework. The holidays are simply flying past me and i almost can never remember what day it is now. To date, there're approximately 2 weeks remaining of the holidays and i've not touched a single item on the homework list. Whee.

Tuesday, December 13, 2005 Sleep-less
Juz came back from chalet. Surprisingly not tired at all sia. Haven had sleep since Sunday. Woke up on Sunday at 8am, went for duty at MAD for 10 hrs of security. Reached home and slept at 4am. Siao! Den recieved Linda's about Astro Chalet so hurry up go sleep le lolz. Woke up ytd at 8.30am, packed my bag for chalet den zhao liao. Took bus 15 to Pasir Ris and reached there juz nice at 2.30pm, the meeting time. Super zhun sia. Met Randy and Nicholas, but Linda and Xi Shi haven come -_- den they like 30 mins late sia, and they were the ones who keep saying 2.30pm!! (girls -__-") Ya la, cos only Xi Shi can collect the keys, so juz wait lor(the food's spoiling =X)
Den reach le the place super ulu sia.. and so small. haha budden free la so nvm. So the afternoon super sianz lor, nth to do.. Den at night start the BBQ, keep eating and drinking all the way till 1am LOLZ, Randy brought so much food sia, think can last 1 more day. Den afta tt we packed up and went up to the only room to sit down and talk. Haha talked about practically everything under the sun(or moon) sia. Talk talk talk talk talk already 7am liaoz o.O! Dat Hock Ming is zhu lor, sleep the earliest wake up the latest. Den after tt go eat McDonald breakfast den go home liaoz. Dun think going for MAD duty today, no mood sia. Hahax

Sunday, December 11, 2005 Burnt Out
Went down for duty as usual again today. Did 2 shifts today, both security. So thats 10 hrs of security, totally washed out now. Day shift was like always, horribly mundane and totally no point. Night shift was more interesting tho, there were 4 local bands performing and to tell the truth, they were really good, even tho i had to stand guard at the stage and got my eardrums blasted out in the process.
Met alot of SRJCians today, most specifically 4 of them.. from RocMoc. There's Regina(again), Zheng Zheng, Serene and Nicholas and all of them are nice people! =D Nicholas keep teasing them mercilessly la, so its kinda funny to watch them actually. Hopefully can see them around again for duty. Recieved an SMS from Mee today, something bout some Kbox session for 1S06(my class in 1st 3 months). Supposedly on this coming tuesday.. well, she said she's trying to get the s6 ppl to go. Hopefully it goes thru as haven seen the peeps for quite awhile. It'll be good to get together and have a chinwag together again. That means no volunteering on tuesday den.. Also, there's an Astro gathering/chalet tml as some kinda farewell party for the Astro seniors. The timing's kinda great too, since tml is the day of peak activity for the Geminid meteor showers. Dunno if we can see anything tho. Well, still not decided whether i wanna go for it.. OMG, i realised that volunteering's really getting to me. My life seem to revolve around MAD nowadays. The old me was so on about going out that i'm practically looking for whatever outings everyday. Now there's so much outings yet i'm hesitant to go cos it means missing out on duty. And i feel odd doing that. Oh well, tml.. still not sure whether i'll go for duty. Really wanna try out motivators but still haven done so. Argh!

Saturday, December 10, 2005 C is for Crumpler.. and cash :D  Nuff said. This is one sexy baby :DNothing much happened today actually. Went for MAD duty as security cos there was like 1 security volunteer not counting. Haha, nothing interesting really. Juz did the usual security stuff. Oh ya, today got some old man wif "Lao Ren Chi Tai" got lost, so we had to call the police to take him home. Did alot of barricades moving sia cos alot of traffic in the Epbus sector. Den last hour of the shift started raining cats and dogs. Got "stranded" at the VHO area. So made use of the time to really look at all the booths, saw loads of really interesting things. Talked to the guy in the Spiderman costume too. Francine was like saying i shud be honored to be talking to Spiderman. Riiiite -.-" Anyways, still thinking whether to do day shift or night shift tml.. or maybe both. Day shift's boring as hell. Night shift's is hectic as hell. Regina and Fracine are doing night shift tml i think. There's "Die Another Day" at 6.45pm tml. ARGH! Day or night?! Bleh.

Friday, December 09, 2005 McDonalds is so sinful!
Yup, i realised(about time huh?) that McDonalds really is soooo sinful! Since starting MAD duty at Tampines, been eating McDonalds ALOT ALOT ALOT more den usual. Take today for example, had McDonalds for lunch and dinner. Yesterday was the same too. Yikes, might start gaining weight if i'm not careful. Better stop!
Anyways, MAD duty is more interesting nowadays, really looking forward to it each day. Haha~!! Think i wanna do motivator tml le.. Had enuff of security le. Wanna do motivator, learn how to communicate with all kinds of people, get rejected in every possible way in this world and be worried about not being able to get ppl to pledge hours instead of worrying bout smokers or bikers. Tml's saturday and my MAD duty is officially over, but i'm gonna continue going for it. As a motivator! Hopefully i can tahan. cos really wanna do 2 shifts tml! To Vanessa, dunno if ur feeling bad for making me wait, but knowing u! u're probably not -_- Well juz in case u really are feeling bad, wanna say tt i dun blame u in any way okie? :) aaaaand i'm not gonna charge u a cent :X U still gotta pay tat $1.80 for the Milo bar tho. WAHAHAHAHA

Thursday, December 08, 2005 Geminids Meteor Shower
All visitors take note! Geminids meteor showers will be active from 9th to 19th Dec with peak activity on the 12th and 13th! No guarantees u might see anything but hey, take a look at the night sky within this period of time. Its already quite a spectacular sight tonight. I've already seen like 15-20 BRIGHT(YES VERY BRIGHT) stars clustered together. Dun miss it!!
Anyways for today, went for duty at MAD again, did 1st 5hr shift as a motivator and the 2nd 5hr shift as park security. The first shift do wif Vanessa lor, i tot can go around getting people to pledge hours, but ended up doing a counter job(literally, counting ppl entering the park) which is so totally not a motivator job haha. And Vanessa kept using my sun-burnt face as an excuse to suan me about blushing when talking to the girls la -_- Ok, so theres a free 5hr of CIP there LOL 2nd shift as park security was more fun. Got posted to the Epson Bus sector. Basically pretty boring until around 7 where the traffic starts getting heavy. Today was exciting enough. Many cars tried to park illegally so did quite abit of shoo-ing. Den there was an accident too, caused quite a congestion. Well, today's shift was overall quite interesting. To tell the truth, i'm actually looking forward to duty nowadays. Cos its fun! and I get to meet new frens lolz. Really wanna try being a REAL motivator but my PR(public relations) skills really suck man.. sigh..

Monday, December 05, 2005 A Breather
There's no MAD duty today, decided to take a breather today. Gonna resume duty again tml again, haha, can't wait! Think i might try out the motivator duty someday with Nessa.
Anyways, today's break really sucks. -.-" Nothing to do at all. Actually going out with Nessa, but tt $@!$#%#$ 1 minute say go, next minute say too tired. Den i heard from Aloy later on dat she did go out after all. Den nvr msg me! -.-" Nvm, i forgive her since i so kind muahahahaha. So yea lor, nothing to do sia. Went to Orchard alone to look at Crumpler bags and clothes and possible christmas gifts? Think i might get the Western Lawn design ($90) although i think the Barney Rustle design ($149) is soo much nicer. Ah, gotta save enough cash first b4 thinkin bout it. Haha. Came back rather early from the "shopping trip" cos nothing much to do really. Spent more time taking buses here and there den shopping itself i think lolz.. Came back about 6pm. Went cycling+running, covered 3.2km on my bike @ the highest gear and another 1.6km running. Hope i did burn some lipids from that =X Now my legs juz feels like crumbling any moment la. :S

Post MAD-movement duty
Argh! Night shift security is DEFINITELY different. TOTALLY! From the afternoon shift security. Met Nessa and Aloy at BK today b4 duty, reported to the command booth about 5 mins late =X Then they 2 pangseh me la! go do the motivator job sianz!
So the night shift only got 6 security ppl. Initially it was pretty okay(5-7) as there wasn't much people yet. Juz did the usual, told ppl off for smoking, chased cars away and chasing people away from sitting at the entrance structure. O well, it's pretty repetitive. But come 7.30pm. There was some magic show(IMO its dumb -.-) and hence the parameters of patrol was reshuffled. Also, the human traffic was beginning to increase and WORST STILL, the 2 newbies to security left at about 8 -.-" So yea, left 4 security people to watch over the park. Yea, everyone was freaking out cos there was juz sooo many things to cover. No smokers.. Keep an eye on generators.. Make sure no jokers get on the stage.. No illegal hawkers/surveyors.. no illegal parking.. Argh! juz too many.. all the 4 of us security were stretched thin and no breaks too -.-" Nessa and Aloy got it easy la, all they had to do was juz get ppl to pledge some volunteer hours which IMO is waaaaaay easier la. Whee, anyways, taking a break tml, no duty!! =D Gonna go hang out or something i guess. Haha. Ask me out!! someone!! anyone!!

Sunday, December 04, 2005 Pre MAD-movement duty
Today's the 3rd day of MAD movement security duty. I decided to miss the afternoon shift and go for the night one instead since nessa keeps trying to persuade me to go for the night one. Lolz. Damn, i realised, going for this duty is terribly hard, u keep thinking bout the 101 things u could be doing with the time.
"U seem jittery." "Yea, i'm about to start duty at MAD". Oh w/e. anyways, ~4 hrs to go b4 have to get ready for duty. Urgh.. that horrible green vest and black cap.. Sigh.... On another note, having notions of getting a crumpler since Nessa and Aloy seems to be raving about it like its the invention of the lightbulb all over again or something. O well, $149/$90.. seriously gotta think about it :S

Today was more organised. Everything's all set-up and there actually seems to be presence of life in the area. Finally felt the true power of Park Security! Muahaha *lightning strikes*
"Excuse me! You're not allowed to smoke in here!!!" from me and the smokers hurriedly put out their rods of death. Whee, i bet if i tried that on the street i'll be beaten up till like a panda. Anyways, made 2 new friends today, one is Aloy(dun make me spell the full name) who's extremely cool and funny and the other is Nessa(i think his "mei"). Of course, we're juz accquaintances eh? (Rite nessie? >.>") Nvm. i still think they're pretty cool. Well, no doubt duty's was much more fun today as there was actually something to do, and of course chatting with the peeps. But still, its helluva tiring as due to the area being move lively, we're under even greater pressure to remain CONSTANT VIGILIANCE!! Oh heck, its fun.

Went for duty at Tampines today. Park security. Bleah, i tot it'd be fun. BUT ITS SOOOOOOOO BORING -_-" Juz keep walking around looking for "suspicious packages/bags" which ain't there. "Suspicious loitering people" who aren't there too. And the uniforms are SOOOOOOOOOOO HORRIBLE, they're even worst den what i imagined. OMG. I nearly switched to another "job" just to avoid wearing them. Anyways, can declare that i wasted 5 hours today, but hey, 5 hours of CIP, not bad i guess.
Ok, maybe i shouldn't be that critical, considering that today was the first day of the entire fair, hence nothing much's operating during my shift(12pm-5pm). The official launch is at 7pm, but i just couldn't bring myself to stay on for the other shift, too sleepy XD O well, tomorrow's a Saturday, hopefully the response would be better so that we( the security peeps) actually have something to do. I guess i'll probably do 10 hr shift tml.. Zhi Qiang and PC are staying for the 2nd shift today, i hope they have fun. Lolz. Another thing. Something Phoebe said has set me pondering. Is it actually better to lose the Mr. Nice-Guy attitude and be a total jerk. Hmmz. No comments plx. Thx

MAD movement  First and foremost, special thanks to Phoebe and Hanz for this extremely belated birthday gift(shown above) :)Today's the first day of security duty at Tampines for that MAD movement thing. Argh! I completely forgot about it! Was intending to Maple the whole day, o well guess not :( The entire period of duty's from 2-9 Dec.. Crap, i heard from Hanz that the security uniform looks bad.. really really bad. Hope i dun meet anyone i noe while in it XD Also heard from him that they planted fake bombs and stuff for u to find so that u dun get bored -.-" Gee, i hope its SERIOUSLY not THAT dumb.. Anyhoo, my sister helped me to bleach my hair! now there's this brownish portion near my fringe. No comments on it. -.-"
