Loooooong weekend

Justine bugged me to update. But i totally can't think of anything to write about. Hahax. Went out with Hanz yesterday to Suntec City. Didn't do anything much, except watch that asshole worrying bout NOT buying anything and going home empty-handed -_-

Anyways, this is a looooong weekend since Monday's a holiday too. Really should get some work started, but I'm just too lazy. Hahahahaha! Hmm, been eating alot of ice-cream lately. Have no idea why I find ice-cream so tasty nowadays. LOL.

New Age Songs..

Wow. Been quite a while since i blogged about something. Had some issues with Blogger not publishing my posts back then, but i guess its alright now. Nothing drastic happened during this period of time i guess. So I guess I'll juz rant about some random stuff.

First off, till now, still nowhere near in improving for NAPFA. Gosh, the situation does seem rather bad. Weather's been bad lately too, so its really inconvenient to go out there and jog or whatever. And not to mention my appetite's been especially healthy recently -_-"

Second off, got back Chemistry paper today. Failed.. Actually I kinda "know" I was gonna fail it. Even though I studied, that day was just f**ked up. Was having problems from the expired soya milk and couldn't concentrate. Ok ok, I'm finding excuses. But honestly I'm so screwed for my Science papers this time.

Third off, i managed to somehow cause my skin to peel while training pull-ups today. And now i got a "hand-ful" of pain. Literally. Oh, but because of that, couldn't really do typing or shiet, so I actually studied some stuff ^^ Finally understood Born-Haber cycle and stuffs.

Fourth, started listening to my sis's new age songs collection. Gotta say that I find them really good. But I guess not many people can agree with me.

Fifth, I finally found a method to cope with having Poh Chong sit next to me. Wahahaha! Everytime he does that, I'll make a big fuss with his ever-shaking, myogenic nature, tremors generating legs. He just can't seem to hold them still. I wonder why? Heard from Amanda's sis that people who do that are sexually deprived? oO" WELL, i'm not planning to find out whether that particular piece of information is true Thank you very much.

Guess I've said enough, gotta get back to work. Still got Chemistry and Mathtematics to tackle.

~Sigh.

Expired Soya Milk : Aftermath

Argh!! Drank expired soya milk on Sunday AND my stomach's been feeling unwell even till now. Lol, this week's my exam week and it JUST has to be riddled with so many unfortunate events. Anyways, thanks to the stupid soya milk, been having frequent bowel movement, no make that VERY frequent.

Oh and also not forgetting that flu which i got yesterday because of the rain. But thankfully that's gone and history already. Today's Physics and Biology paper is well and truly flunked. Been having aches throughout the entire papers and yesterday ngiht as well, so not just that i couldn't concentrate on doing the papers, i couldn't concentrate on revising the night before TOO. Wahaha. Somebody shoot me!

By the way, today's weather was pretty good(no rain) so i went jogging again. Ran only 3 rounds this time as the weather was simply too hot(I did say i worked better in aqua conditions.. =x). Went to check out bicycles after that and saw one that looked really nice for $80. Now i'm considering whether should I buy it. Not of the $$ factor but more of the parental reaction factor >.>

Okok, tomorrow's Chemistry! The last paper before exam relief(for a couple of days). Gotta go revise a couple more times to hopefully get a better grade to make up for my more-than-100%-get-F Physics grade. But somehow.. the last paper always seem to score the worst -_- and its always Chemistry! (Double -_-)

So cold....

Yesterday was terrible. For some reason, the air conditioner was working EXTREMELY efficiently and i was feeling terribly cold the whole night through. Woke up in the middle of the night at about 3am and realised that I was shaking all over. Pulled the blanket to cover my entire body but it was as good as nothing. But i still managed to survive through the night =D How? All thanks to my wonderful bolster. Hugged it really tight and thought about...(Nothing steamy >.>) Ahh.. brought warmth and lightened my spirits. LOL

Anyways, woke up with a flu this morning.( No wonder!) I think its because i ran in the rain yesterday. Sigh.. What's with the weather man.. Wanted to run again today, but the rain was simply too heavy complete with lightning and thunder. Dun wanna risk it =X

Today was Mathematics paper. Nothing to say about it. Gone. Bye.

Mathematics. My Foe/Nemesis/Downfall/Enemy

Its funny how simple digits strike such fear deep into my heart. But honestly, whenever the Math exam papers comes around, i spend the whole night before panicking. They always say that reading the notes, memorising the formulas, doing the tutorials and the Ten Years Series (TYS) is the key to grasping Mathematic by the A. Somehow, i never did know whether that was true or not.

Yes, I study my tutorials and notes and I'm sure I know my stuff(or so i thought), but during the paper, everything crumbles... Sigh.. I suppose tomorrow's Mathematics paper's gonna be a case of deja vu. Ok, so what I've done to in preparation for tomorrow's battle with the digits so far is to analyze the tutorials and figure out all the various methods. But when i take out the TYS and pick a random question to try, everything goes blank. Gosh, at this rate, I'm gonna need some professional help.

So.... can anyone give me FREE math tuition? ^__________^

General Paper Exam. Weight Loss Chronicles.

General Paper exam today. And the topic tested, as Wenshan "predicted", was on cloning. So in a sense i did prepare a little for the paper.. well, i did some reading up on Singapore's policy and stand and such on the issue for cloning. However, still think I'm gonna screw up for it as i didn't manage to complete the paper. Hell, i only completed the summary by 9.15am! That left 15 minutes for A.Q(or so i thought).. Flipped to the next page and found to my horror.. another 2 questions AND 5 vocabulary questions. Okie, good luck happy new year. In the end, only managed to finish like 60% of my intended A.Q answer. Bleah, good bye B3.

Oh, about the weight loss chronicles.. Decided to seriously put some effort into losing weight. Why? I seriously don't want to fail my NAPFA and have to go in for National Service for like a month earlier? WTH, NO WAY!! Besides, to quote Mr Yong(yes our school PE teacher), i wanna get a girlfriend ^^. No no, I'm not a shallow "looks-only" person, its just that in my opinion, if I look good, I'll feel good and it will be good for my confidence levels? Who knows.. Anyways, decided to put down how much I've done so that I can actually see my progress..

Today's the first day anyhow, completed 45 minutes of continuous jogging, covered like 6.4km? Lolx.. Actually it was 4 laps around Maha Bodhi Primary school, but i dun have the exactly distance of each lap, roughly 1.6km/lap i guess. Anyways, I usually can't do that much, more than often died-ed by the 2nd lap.. Lol. Perhaps its the rain and the cool weather. I'm just too much of a H20 person, water can heighten my spirits and boost my moods =D (Thats not an invitation to dunk me into the next swimming pool thank u very much). Plan of action? Well, the intention is run 45 mins daily(tts about 4 laps/day i guess) and maybe something more interesting on weekends? But who knows how long i can keep up with that, I'm not exactly a fit person to begin with. Sigh.

We'll see how things work out at the end of May.

Fisherman's Friend : Mandarin and Ginger

IS DEFINITELY NO FRIEND OF MINE!! Tried this particular flavour today and it's terrible!! The intitial mandarin taste is good, but the ginger takes over after the first 10 mins and my tongue ends up horribly numb, like just after eating super mints. I'm so gonna stick to citrus flavour, or the apple and cinnamon ones.

Today's 2nd day of study-intensive period. Managed to complete my Physics revision yesterday, so today's Biology revision. It was a complete disaster! Just couldn't get all the stuff about genetics into my head for the entire morning( started about 9am). Gave up studying and went with Edwin to Queensway Shopping Centre to look @ his shoes and jersey. I DID bring along the textbook to cram some studying, but to no avail T.T Edwin saw his shoes and jersey and decided both was pretty economically viable. LOL. And I've DECIDED. I wan new Asics shoes and i also want a new phone. Seems like Edwin always manages to lower my phone's value in my eyes. Wahaha! OH OH! and i saw Meng Zi on the way back from Bugis(yea we took a bus to Bugis, den switched to the train), actually more like she saw me and waved. But blur me totally didnt register her until the train was already moving. Lolx. Haiz. Need more brain stimulants.

Anyways, I'm skipping the genetic topics tested and going right on to the transport and homeostasis topics already! No point wasting my time rite? (; All the best to my S1-ians for CT2! Only 5 more days!

Not So "Good Friday"

Today is Good Friday, but i keep thinking its Saturday. Common Test 2 is just next week, and I haven't really done much studying. Gosh, and the teachers DID promise that the papers would be extremely tough. Slept at 11pm yesterday night, woke at 11.30am this morning, slept for brief periods from 1-3pm and 5-7pm too, therefore, a grand total of 16 hours and 30 mins on sleeping?! Wow, how am i ever gonna fall asleep tonight? Wrote out all the topics needed to revise for CT2 on a piece of paper to remind me exactly how little I've done(look at all the unticked check boxes!!)

On another note, just saw PC's nick about SRJC care. I dunno exactly how his mind works thinking that the teachers are mean, but I wouldn't expect any mercy from the teachers myself if I wouldn't give a tinker toot about completing my tutorials(not to mention additional enrichments or assignments). Ok, I think I'm a little too harsh here, but PC's too hypocritical at times, so don't blame me. What with email-ing us about not submitting work when he's at the top of the teachers' list for unsubmitted homework. PAH! -_- Okay, I guess he's still pretty okay during CCA as, besides acting weird, he teaches pretty well especially in the Astro field(Hands-on part). Perhaps maybe we could really see him shine if we look carefully(pardon the pun~), but i guess his behaviour just makes us look over him as a mere irritant.

Been thinking about stuff lately and realised perhaps one reason that I "had" such contempt for PC might be because he reminded me so much of my pre-JC self. Yes, i was THAT weird last time, but hopefully I've changed for the better. If not.. well at least I dun have as many people wanting to wring my neck as him! ^^

Dr. Gary Chapman says...

The Five Love Languages

My primary love language is probably
Quality Time
with a secondary love language being
Acts of Service.

Complete set of results

Quality Time: 10
Acts of Service: 7
Physical Touch: 7
Words of Affirmation: 5
Receiving Gifts: 1

Information

Unhappiness in relationships, according to Dr. Gary Chapman, is often due to the fact that we speak different love languages. Sometimes we don't understand our partner's requirements, or even our own. We all have a "love tank" that needs to be filled in order for us to express love to others, but there are different means by which our tank can be filled, and there are different ways that we can express love to others.

Take the quiz

Did the quiz just for the sake of it. *yawn*

Seedless VS regular. My way of life.

Juz read somewhere that a survey conducted show thated we(as in human beings) consume seedless grapes up to 70% faster than regular grapes. Lol, typical lazy humans.

Hmm, been quite a long while since i blogged. Been so busy with schoolwork, not to mentioned that I'm hooked onto Naruto now... going through ~7 episodes per day. Anyways, suddenly realised that there is less then 1 week till start of CT2 and i HAVE NOT started revision AT ALL. Gosh, I almost didnt even realise it! Too much anime i guess.

Was lying in bed thinking about my life(yes honestly) yesterday night. I thought about all the stuff that i wanted to do(as of currently) and those that I have actually done and came to the conclusion that I've been living such an unfulfilling life all these while. Some hobbies that I'd love to indulge in but never did due to so many reasons.. drawing... playing the guitar.. playing the harmonica.. are just a few examples. Some other dreams which i once had included being able to dance, being a competitive runner. But now they're all nothing as well. Those whom had known me from the early teenage years would know why.

Now that the years of being a youth are nearly up, i feel utter regret for letting it all go to waste. Sometimes I wish i could re-live those days, but yet again, I have began to like my current life now. That is, faced with the numerous challenges now, I'm able to constantly improve myself, through blood and sweat. The thrill I derive from them are beyond what words can describe and even better is when you've got a whole bunch of great friends who're experiencing it as well. For that, I express my greatest gratitude. Thanks S1!

That aside, there're some things in life which i have still yet to experience. Falling in love, ace-ing at something are some pieces of my life's puzzle which I have yet to find. I'll still continue to seek them out for ever and ever, till i do find them.

Okay, gotta go join Jensen and Raymond on Maple now.

Absence.

Finally decided to pen down some stuff before this blog self-combusts or something. Too much stuff happened since the last post that I can't even remember them Lolx.

To make a long story short.. had a creepy encounter, made some new friends, took some tests, got hooked onto Naruto, M.A.R and Fate Stay Night, bought some comic books etc etc.

Just visited Jensen's blog and read the post about Poh Chong. Then i realised Poh Chong's emailed went into the junk section of my mailbox, lol. Fished it out and read it and hell yea i do have something to say about it.

Honestly, I have no idea what he's trying to say. Like what the hell, what's with all that thesis statements and examples and stuff? If I didn't know better, I'd thought he's still in the G.P mode or something. Besides, why's he dragging so many other things such as security guards and stuff into the picture, totally "404 point not found".

Okay, 4.20am now, I'm cranky. Still, I wanna see how Monday's turnout is like, whether Poh Chong himself had done his tutorial after "lecturing" us.

P.S. I gotta admit it. Poh Chong's emails are seriously an entertaining read.
