Tuesday, November 22, 2005 S1 Outing :D
Went out with S1-ians to catch Harry Potter and The Goblet Of Fire. The show was pretty good, but it was nearly 3hrs long so i was just wishing that it would end towards the end of the show due to a full bladder =X After the show, Justine, Yongtao and Jack went off to their various business while the rest of us (Me, Xz, Colin, Tingz, Fanny, Esther, Wanyi and Shaun) hung around Orchard. They( as in the girls) wanted to go to Far East Plaza to shop, so yea, we guys, being the gentlemen we are, obliged of course! :D
Oh noes, BIG MISTAKE #1! Now i finally understand the true girls' version of the term shopping compared with that of guys. Yikes, at Far East Plaza, we went our separate ways, guys to the bottom, girls to the top. We guys finished walking around the bottom 2 levels of the plaza and went up to find the girls... Only to find that they're like 4 shops away from where we left them O_O Ok, so we accompanied(well more like waited outside.) them whilst they did their shopping. Oh man, BIG MISTAKE #2! The amount of time they spent in each store.. Gee, u woulda thought that the store was about as big as Carrefour. Anyways, we guys decided to eat dinner first as the girls didn't seem like they were gonna eat in the near future. Must be all that adrenaline pumping while shopping :X. We ate at Hans Cafe and whee, the food was superb! and cheap too(somewhat)! $8.50 for a main course, garlic bread, soup and a slice of fruit. After the meal, we went back to find the girls and WOW, they were like 8 stores away from where we left them. -.-" Well, we thought they'll be done in abit, so we figured, might as well wait for them, then all go back together. BIG MISTAKE #3!! 1 hour later, they're still tranversing through the various stores TIRELESSLY! From OMG to Route 66 to 77th Street. Lolz, its almost a road directory. Well, in the end, we guys left first. Actually we wanted to continue to be gentlemen and wait for the ladies, but i guess in the end our patience ran too thin for that. Anyways the girls were trying to get us to go off first as we were in a sense.. tagging along and "stressing" them out o.O Oh ya, and i forgot to mention. Met Jes at Far East Plaza today! Whee HIEE JES! Its good to see you again! How have u been?! Update me sometimes okie? :) Ok, thats all about our class trip. It was fun all in all :D and its 1.06am and i got a Bio lecture at 8am tml -.-" Bed time! Tata~!
